Cohn to explore potential of November election at CGU
The public is invited to a free 6 p.m. lecture, “The November Election Results: The Potential for Ending the School Cultural Wars Across the Country and Here in California,” led by Carl Cohn, Professor Emeritus at Claremont Graduate University’s School of Educational Studies, at Albrecht Auditorium, 925 N Dartmouth Ave., Claremont, on Monday, December 2. An informal fellowship starts at 5.
“Professor Cohn will focus on how progressives across the country and here in California are pushing back on the extremist takeovers of public school districts,” read the event’s description. “He will also discuss a new Hewlett Foundation-sponsored collaboration that features a new initiative designed to dramatically increase political knowledge and skills in the preparation, training and support of superintendents.”
The program part of the institute’s Magic Mondays series. Attendees must RSVP at tinyurl.com/carlcohndec2024.
