There was a reporting error in our September 13 story “CUSD Board looking at district student cell phone policies.” The board discussed current high school cell phone policies and directed staff to gather feedback through a survey targeting high school staff, families, and students. There is no directive from the board to develop a districtwide cell phone policy at this time. The focus is solely on understanding community perspectives on the existing policies at CUSD’s two high schools.
