On June 16, the Claremont Police Department explorer post, a volunteer program open to kids and adults ages 14½ to 21, attended a joint meeting with Glendora and Covina PD in Glendora which consisted of a mock first day of the academy, uniform inspection, and physical fitness training.

The explorer program gives participants a glimpse of the law enforcement field as they participate in basic training and learn department techniques and procedures through community service and ride alongs.
