CPP hosts free financial literacy workshop
Cal Poly Pomona hosts a free financial literacy workshop with financial analyst and associate professor of finance, real estate and law Anthony Orlando from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, February 18 at its Community Innovation Hub, 101 W. Mission Blvd., Suite 111, Pomona, CA 91766.
“Start building the skills to help you build a stable and secure financial life,” read a CPP news release. “Financial literacy empowers you to manage your money, make smart financial choices, avoid excessive debt, save for the future, and protect yourself from financial risks.”
Attendees will learn how to improve their credit scores, and how credit bureaus generate credit reports and maintain and provide information about credit histories and financial behaviors.
