CSO concert March 17 at Little Bridges

The Claremont Symphony Orchestra plays a 3:30 p.m. concert Sunday, March 17 at Pomona College’s Bridges Hall of Music, 150 E. Fourth St., Claremont.

The show will feature “The Duke of Marlborough” by Percy Grainger, Elizabeth Maconchy’s “Two Dances from Puck Fair,” Franz Joseph Haydn’s Cello Concerto No. 1 in C major, “Masquerade Suite” by Aram Khachaturian, and Peter Tchaikovsky’s “Capriccio Italien,” conducted by Ruth Charloff. Kyle Champion, an artist teacher of cello at University of Redlands, principal cellist with the Redlands Symphony and member of the Long Beach Symphony, is the featured soloist.

Doors open at 3 and seating is limited to 500. Disabled parking is available in front of the hall with a ramp on the west side.
