CSO wraps season with all-American program
Claremont Symphony Orchestra’s final concert of the season will be an all-American program featuring the music of George Gershwin and Howard Hanson, led by CSO Music Director Robert Sage, on Sunday, June 9, at Pomona College’s Bridges Hall of Music, 150 E. Fourth St., Claremont. The 3:30 p.m. concert is free and open to the public.
Music includes “Cuban Overture” and “Piano Concerto in F” by Gershwin, and Hanson’s “Symphony No. 2 in D-flat major.” The piano soloist is Gloria Cangahuala, who also plays violin with the Claremont Symphony Orchestra.
