Claremont Cub Scouts Pack 408 invites families interested in learning about scouting to its annual free back to scouting picnic from 4 to 6 p.m. Saturday, August 10 at Joāt Park, near the corner of Indian Hill Boulevard and Scripps Drive. Returning scouts and their families will kick off the new scouting season at this event, older scouts from troops 407 and 408 will lead activities for younger attendees, and Cubmaster Ben Keim will talk about the year ahead.
