Deadline is Saturday for EU conference topic submissions

The deadline is approaching for undergraduate students to submit topic proposals for April’s 23rd annual Undergraduate Research Conference on the European Union at Scripps College.

The deadline is 11:59 p.m. Saturday, February 1. Enter at scrippscollege.edu/eucenter, select the drop-down arrow on the “student resources” tab, then “Undergraduate Research Conference on the EU” for application info.

Topics may deal with any aspect of European integration or transatlantic relations, according to a Scripps news release. Select papers will be published in a special volume of conference proceedings and two students will receive travel awards for a week-long Brussels summer study trip.

The conference is hosted by the EU Center of California and sponsored by the Claremont Colleges, University of California, Berkeley, and the University of Washington. A downloadable brochure and poster are linked at scrippscollege.edu/eucenter.
