Pomona Valley Audubon Society and California Botanic Garden host free family bird walks on the first Sunday of each month at 1500 N. College Way, Claremont. Attendees meet at the garden entrance at 8 a.m. for the two-hour venture. Participants should wear comfortable shoes and weather-appropriate clothing and bring water, bird guides or binoculars. Loaner binoculars are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
