Four of 5Cs named top Fulbright producers
Claremont McKenna, Scripps, Pomona, and Pitzer colleges — four of the five Claremont Colleges undergraduate institutes — were named top producers of United States Fulbright students in the baccalaureate institutions category by the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs in February. The four universities together produced 41 Fulbright students during the 2024-25 cycle, with Pomona totaling 16; Pitzer, 11; and seven each at CMC and Scripps.
“The Fulbright Program is the U.S. government’s flagship international academic exchange program,” a news release at cmc.edu read. “Since its founding, the Fulbright Program has provided over 400,000 students, scholars, teachers, artists, and professionals of all backgrounds with the opportunity to study, teach, and conduct research abroad. Fulbrighters exchange ideas, build people-to-people connections, and work to address complex global challenges.”
