Free musical performances at The Claremont Colleges
The Joint Music Program of Claremont McKenna, Harvey Mudd, Pitzer, and Scripps colleges will host The Claremont Concert Orchestra on Saturday, October 21 for a free and open to the public 7:30 p.m. concert highlighting the symphonic works of Brahms and Dvořák at Garrison Theater, 241 E. 10th St., Claremont. A repeat program will take place at 2 p.m. Sunday, October 22. The program includes a performance by the 2022 Concerto Competition winner violinist Anna Ravid.

The following Sunday, October 29, Pomona College Emeritus Professor of Music William Peterson will present music by J.S. Bach and Buxtehude on the Hill Memorial Organ at 3 p.m. at Bridges Hall of Music, 150 E. Fourth St., Claremont. Admission is free and open to the public. Program info is at pomona.edu.
