Pomona Valley Audubon Society led bird walks through California Botanic Garden resume Sunday, September 3, and will continue on the first Sunday of each month.

Attendees meet at 8 a.m. at the garden entrance, 1500 N. College Way, Claremont. The two-hour, family-friendly ventures are free and teach walkers how to identify local bird life. Attendees should wear comfortable shoes and weather appropriate clothing, and bring water, bird guides or binoculars. Loaner binoculars are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Birders can sign up at CalBG’s front kiosk or online at calbg.org/event. Space is limited.
