Fairplex and Running Legacy Inc. host the annual holiday Penguin Waddle kid’s run at 7 a.m. Saturday, December 14, and a holiday half marathon at 7 a.m. Sunday, December 15 at 1101 W. McKinley Ave., Pomona. The starting and finish lines for both events are at Fairplex In-N-Out Drag Strip, 2398 E. Arrow Hwy., La Verne. A pre-race health and fitness expo opens at 6 a.m. both days. Also on Saturday, December 14, Ontario holds its 8 a.m. Rudolph Dash for children, followed by the community 5K Reindeer Run at 8:30. Events will start at D Street and Euclid Avenue.
