The Kiwanis Club of Claremont celebrates its 100th anniversary from 6 to 10 p.m. Saturday, September 21 at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel, 555 W. Foothill Blvd., Claremont. The event includes dinner, dancing, a raffle, and a ceremony honoring a century of service to the Claremont community. Tickets are $100 at brownpapertickets.com, search “Claremont.”

The club donates to numerous Claremont nonprofits, helps sponsor Claremont’s summer concerts in the park, sponsors Claremont and San Antonio high school key clubs, the builder’s club at El Roble Intermediate School, a virtual See’s Candies store, awards scholarships and grants, and more.
