La Verne Chamber of Commerce held its 2024 excellence in La Verne business awards this week, with six organizations receiving special recognition.

Micky’s Jewelry Studio was named business of the year; Moxie Salon new business of the year; and Print Connection was given the family-owned business of the year award. Haaker Equipment Company was the chamber’s employer of the year, and Michael Neeley of Equity 401K was named the Brian McNerney ambassador of the year. House of Ruth was recognized as the nonprofit of the year.
