The Friends of the Claremont Library will host a half price book sale throughout the month of August at Claremont Helen Renwick Library, 208 N. Harvard Ave. Books, CDs, DVDs, audio books, tapes, and records occupying the burgundy shelves and nearby carts are eligible for the sale. Funds from the sale benefit the Friends.

The sale will take place during library hours, noon to 8 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday, and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday through Saturday. The library is closed Sunday and Monday.
