Little League 10s’ postseason ends with state tournament loss

by Andrew Alonzo | aalonzo@claremont-courier.com

The Claremont Little League All-Star 10-year-olds lost two close games over the weekend at the 2025 Southern California State Little League tournament, sending them home for the summer.

The 10s — the last Claremont Little League All-Star team in postseason play — lost 3-2 to Section 8 and District 71 champions Vineyard Little League Saturday at Homer Briggs Park in Ontario. The team was facing elimination Sunday against Section 10 and District 62 champions Huntington West, but lost another close one, 2-1, and ending their postseason.

The 10s went 8-3 in the postseason while winning the Section 3 and District 20 titles.
