Inland Valley Repertory Theatre mounts George Furth’s 1981 musical “Merrily We Roll Along” at University of La Verne’s Morgan Auditorium, 1950 Third St., at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, July 27 and August 3, and at 2 p.m. Sunday, July 28 and August 4. The show is directed by Frank Minano.

“Like a musical version of Benjamin Button, the plot of this play unravels the lives of three friends in reverse” and “is about friendship, compromise, the high cost of success and the importance of staying true to one’s ideals,” the show’s program read.
