OMHA’s ‘Conduit’ opens February 15

The Ontario Museum of History and Art, 225 S. Euclid Ave., opens its latest exhibit “Conduit,” Thursday, February 15.

Inspired by the museum’s permanent installation “Built on Water: Ontario and Inland Southern California,” the exhibit, curated by Debra Scacco, “uncovers how the diversion of water has shaped the way we live through a critical examination of the tension between urban growth and the natural world,” according to a news release. Featured artists include Christy Roberts Berkowitz, Lauren Bon, Gerald Clarke, Noé Montes, Samantha Morales Johnson, Stuart Palley, and Lorene Sisquoc.

A free and open to the public reception is set for 6 to 9 p.m. Saturday, February 17 during the Ontario Art Walk. The museum is open Thursday and Friday from noon to 4 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission is free. Learn more at ontariomuseum.org.
