Ontario airport taps Cal Poly Pomona students
Ontario International Airport recently enlisted the help of Cal Poly Pomona business students in finding new ways to modernize its mobility and parking services with a juried program called the CEO Business Challenge.
More than 100 students toured the airport for solutions and presented ideas at an October 22 event judged by airport executives, faculty, and industry professionals. Teams were evaluated on problem identification and understanding, practical solutions, strategic thinking, innovation and creativity, and storytelling.
The NewGate Solutions team took first and a $2,500 prize.
