Four speakers will take to the Marston Quad podium during Pomona College’s May 12 commencement ceremony: former Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of California Tani Cantil-Sakauye, economist and nonprofit leader Cecilia Conrad, Occidental College’s 16th president Harry Elam Jr. and Pomona College alumnus Dr. Emil Kakkis, founder, president and chief executive officer of Ultragenyx. The speakers will be conferred honorary degrees by Pomona College.
