Secondhand swap returns to Sycamore
Sycamore Elementary School holds its secondhand swap sale from 8 a.m. to noon Saturday, February 3 at 225 W. Eighth St., Claremont. Gently used items such as games, toys, home decor, cooking and gardening items, art, jewelry, electronics, instruments, books, clothing, small furniture, and more will be for sale, with proceeds benefitting its outdoor science school.
Sycamore is currently accepting donations, which can be dropped off in the school’s multipurpose room during school hours. Visitors must check in at the main office. Financial donations can be made at bit.ly/2024sycsecondhandswap.
No televisions, large furniture or large appliances will be accepted. Small furniture items will only be accepted after school lets out Friday, February 2, and donors must agree to pick up the item if it is not swapped. Other items left at the end of the swap will be donated to the Vietnam Veterans of America.
