Student bookmark contest is underway
Los Angeles County students between kindergarten and 12th grade are invited to create an original bookmark during L.A. County Library’s 44th Annual bookmark contest, which is underway.
Submissions are accepted at any of the 85 LA County Library locations, including the Claremont Helen Renwick Library at 208 N. Harvard Ave., through Saturday, October 21.
Entry forms are at all local libraries and at lacountylibrary.org/bookmark-contest, and can be submitted in person, by mail or online.
One winner from each grade category — kindergarten through second, third through fifth, sixth through eighth, and ninth to 12th — will be recognized at their library. Winning bookmarks will then be shared with the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors, who will select countywide winners from each category that reside in their district. Those select winners will have their design professionally printed and distributed across all LA County Library locations.
