Husband, entrepreneur, world traveler
“It is with a heavy heart that we share the news of James Thurman’s peaceful passing on September 22, 2024,” his family shared.
“Jim was predeceased by his wife, the love of his life, Marjorie Parker, M.D., and his devoted parents, Bert and Frances Thurman, Jr. He is survived by his loving sister Judy Thurman and many cousins, nieces, nephews and dedicated friends.”
He was born August 21, 1944, and served honorably in the U.S. Air Force Reserves. He was a graduate of California State Polytechnic University, and had many successful career pursuits, including as a real estate broker, and a wide diversity of interests and expertise. He and his wife were avid international travelers.
“We will all greatly miss Jim, his love and friendships with so many, his generous support of wildlife conservation, and his worldly knowledge,” his family added.
There will be no service, at his request.
