Michael “Maniac Mike” Stewart, 62, died April 16 from amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS). Mr. Stewart was the longtime owner of Maniac Mike’s Cafe located at Cable Airport.

A memorial service is scheduled for Wednesday, May 2 from 6 to 8 p.m. in the parking lot of Maniac Mike’s Cafe at Cable Airport, 1749 W. 13th St., Upland. A celebration of his life will take the place following day, May 3, from noon to 6 p.m. in Hangar Q also at Cable Airport.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the Maniac Mike Memorial Fund at gofundme.com/maniac-mike-memorial-fund. Donations will distributed to local community charities that Mr. Stewart supported. A full obituary will appear in a future edition of the COURIER.
