Obituary: Paul Francoeur
Beloved father, husband, aerospace industry retiree
Paul Francoeur, 73, died December 23, 2019 at Pomona Valley Hospital surrounded by family.
Paul was born March 15, 1946 in Chandler, Quebec, Canada. He made his career at Bombardier Aerospace in Montreal, where he served as vice president of contracts, retiring as vice president of customer service.
Upon his retirement, he moved to Claremont, where he later became a US citizen, something which brought him great pride.
He is survived by his wife, Wendy Hafner Francoeur of Claremont; son, Alain Francoeur and his partner Daniel Caron of Montreal; daughter, Sophie Francoeur of Montreal; stepdaughter, Megan and son-in-law, John Bacigalupi of Oakland; stepdaughter, Adrienne Hafner of Oakland; grandchildren, Joshua and Ryan; and sisters, Gabrielle and Paulette Francoeur of Quebec.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Victoria; father, Simon; and brother, Claude Francoeur.
A memorial will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, January 25, at Todd Memorial Chapel 325 N. Indian Hill Blvd., Claremont.
