Obituary: Rhonda Jean Clark

Beloved grandmother, mother, wife

Rhonda Jean Clark, a longtime Claremont resident, died December 10 after a short battle with pancreatic cancer. She was 57. 

Rhonda was born in Pomona on November 14, 1963. She was raised in Claremont until she married the love of her life, Curtis. They resided in Ontario and Upland until they finally settled back into Claremont in 2002. 

Her family and friends remember her as a woman that could make anyone laugh, could always put a smile on everybody’s face and always put her family first. She left a lasting impression on everyone that knew and loved her.

She was predeceased by her mother. 

She is survived by her husband, Curtis Clark; children Phillip Clark and Briannah Thompson; son-in-law Matthew Thompson; stepson Bradley Clark; and grandchildren Aurora and Bobbie-Jay. She is also survived by her father Gene Coats; and brothers, Lonny Coats and Troy Coats.
