On Friday and Saturday, October 21 and 22, students from the Musicians Club of Pomona Valley will participate in the John Child Walker Music Competition at the Claremont Community School of Music, 951 W. Foothill Blvd., Claremont.

After the results are in, the community is invited to witness the competition’s free and open to the public awards ceremony and winners’ concert at Claremont United Church of Christ, 233 W. Harrison Ave., Claremont, at approximately 7:30 p.m. Saturday, October 22.

Participants will receive certificates and contest winners will be awarded trophies and other prizes. First place winners will play their winning pieces at CUCC.
