Saturday, December 6
Claremont Police Department officers stopped a driver for moving violations near Berkeley and Bonita avenues at 2:46 p.m. After field sobriety tests the driver, a 34-year-old Las Vegas woman, was arrested for misdemeanor DUI, transported to CPD, booked, and held for detoxification before being released with a citation to appear in Pomona Superior Court.
Monday, December 8
Police pulled over a driver for equipment and moving violations at 8:27 p.m. near Dollar Tree, 305 E. Foothill Blvd., Pomona. A records check of a passenger, a 49-year-old Pomona man, revealed two misdemeanor Los Angeles County warrants, leading to his arrest. He was transported to CPD, booked, and held for court. He appeared at Pomona Superior Court December 9 and was released December 12.
Thursday, December 11
CPD stopped a driver near Motel 6, 840 S. Indian Hill Blvd., at 11:13 p.m. and questioned a passenger, a 50-year-old Pomona woman. A records check showed a misdemeanor San Bernardino County warrant, and she was arrested, transported to CPD, booked, and released with a citation.
Friday, December 12
Police pulled over a driver for equipment violations at 11:05 p.m. near Indian Hill Boulevard and San Jose Avenue. Officers allege the driver initially gave a false name, but further investigation revealed his true identity as a 21-year-old Claremont man. A records check showed a felony San Bernardino County warrant, and he was arrested and transported to the Claremont jail, where he was booked and held before being transferred to West Valley Detention Center in Rancho Cucamonga.
Saturday, December 13
Police were called to the 500 block of Granite Street at 8 a.m. regarding a domestic dispute. Arriving officers spoke with two people and allegedly determined a domestic violence incident had taken place with children present, leading to the arrest of a 34-year-old Beverly Hills man for felony domestic violence and misdemeanor child endangerment. He was transported to CPD, booked, and held for court. He was released on bond December 15 ahead of his December 16 Pomona Superior Court appearance.
Officers recognized a 61-year-old Pomona man walking into an alleyway near Stater Bros. Market, 1055 W. Foothill Blvd., at 9:01 a.m. and questioned him. A subsequent records check showed a misdemeanor Claremont warrant and a search allegedly found a methamphetamine pipe, adding misdemeanor possession of unlawful paraphernalia to his charge list. He was arrested, transported to CPD, booked, and held for court.
Claremont police responded to a domestic dispute call in the 700 block of S. Indian Hill Boulevard at 10:49 a.m. After interviewing two people involved and a witness, police arrested a 31-year-old Boron woman for felony domestic violence. She was transported to the Claremont jail, booked, and held for court. She was released on bond December 15 ahead of her December 16 appearance in Pomona Superior Court.
