Claremont resident finds strange man in house, bathtub
A burglar was caught bathing in a Claremont home. Now that’s something you don’t read about every day! On Thursday, December 11 around 10 p.m., the victim and her fiancé returned home and discovered a light was on in the bathroom of the residence located on the 600 block of west 11th Street. When the fiancé entered the home, he found Alex Bosserman taking a bath and charging his cell phone using the resident’s water and electricity. The 44-year-old Riverside man had entered the residence through an unlocked sliding glass door and was not known by the victim. He was arrested for burglary and processed at Claremont jail. Mr. Bosserman remains in custody at Men’s Central Jail in downtown Los Angeles, held on $120,000 bail. He is scheduled to appear in court on January 7.
