The irony of Trump’s purported financial standing
Dear editor:
Am I the only person who finds it disingenuous, or at least ironic, that Donald Trump does not have enough assets to back a bond while appealing a verdict that he overvalued his assets?

Don’t forget to develop parks, open space
Dear editor:
This a suggestion for the future of Claremont. Obviously the city needs to plan for more parks and open space just as for housing. Where is the new park space to be found? There are few options even though the additional housing and people are here, are continuing to come. Could Claremont city government leaders attempt at least to keep the defunct La Puerta site for open space instead of just letting a profit seeking construction entity walk in and out of the city with nothing in mind but to put in as dense a development as it can so that it realizes maximum bucks? What can be done to keep this open space and make it a place to enjoy for all of Claremont? Find grants for park land!
