The Claremont High School girls basketball team fell to hosts Chaminade, 52-45, in the first round of the California Interscholastic Federation-Southern Section Division I tournament February 13.

The loss, hours after the Courier published “CHS girls capture third consecutive league title” highlighting the team’s third consecutive Palomares League crown, ended the Wolfpack’s season at 19-8, 9-1 in league. This year marked the team’s first season in Division I after it competed in Division 2AA in 2023-24, and in Division 2A the year prior.
