Claremont Unified School District Assistant Superintendent of Educational Services Julie Olesniewicz has been selected to become the interim superintendent for the district.

In an email forwarded to the COURIER Superintendant Jim Elsasser announced that the CUSD Board of Education selected Ms. Olesniewicz during it’s meeting on Thursday. The appointment runs from January 1 to June 30, during which time the board will be seeking a permanent superintendant to lead the district.

Ms. Olesniewicz has been with the district for 9.5 years serving as the principal of Chaparral Elementary School and director of educational services before her appointment as assistant superintendant in 2017.
