On Tuesday, April 19, La Verne’s Hillcrest Retirement Community will host the Hawthorne Progressive walking tour starting at 10 a.m. The event will give visitors a glimpse of the La Verne community and will feature a tour of the ground’s state-of-the-art retirement facilities as well as an opportunity to meet Hillcrest residents.

In addition to the walking tour, Hillcrest will hold a relocation informational event for seniors thinking of making a move. Relocation and downsizing specialists from Gentle Transitions will be onsite to give information and advice. Visit gentletransitions.com for more details about the company.

The event will take place at Hillcrest, 2705 Mountain View Dr. La Verne at 10 a.m. and then again at 1 p.m.
