Saturday, November 9
- The 2024 Tour de Foothills bike event kicks off at 7 a.m. with the 100-mile century ride at 217 E. A St., Upland. The 64-mile, 32-mile, and 12-mile family rides will follow at 7:45, 9, and 10:30 a.m., respectively. Single rider admission is $123 for the 100- and 64-mile events and $92 for the 32-mile ride. Families of four are $40 for the 12-mile ride at tourdefoothills.com. Veterans and active military persons are free but must pre-register. Online registration closes at 11:59 p.m. Friday, November 8. - The City of Claremont and American Legion Keith Powell Post 78 team up for an 11 a.m. Veterans Day ceremony at Memorial Park, 840 N.
