Annual Claremont Heritage auction begins

On Saturday, May 28, Claremont Heritage kicked off its 2022 annual gala auction. The auction is currently live online at charityauctionstoday.com/auctions/2022-claremont-heritage-annual-awards-gala-auction-32787 and will remain active until noon on Sunday, June 12.

Items up for auction include a Mike Hill stained glass window, a Rupert Deese small vessel, a Jean Ames 17-inch ceramic plate, a Barbara Beretich abstract sculpture, a Lawrence Murphy oil painting titled “Horses with Rider,” and more.

The money raised from this year’s auction will support Claremont Heritage’s mission “to advance, preserve and celebrate the historic architectural, natural and cultural resources of our community through collaboration, education and advocacy.

“To make a difference, please bid on auction items, give a cash donation, or simply share this auction on your social media,” the group wrote online.

After the auction closes, all items must be picked up in Claremont; however, arrangements may be made for local drop off or shipping. As of press time Monday, Claremont Heritage has raised $7,216 in donations.
