APU mounts ‘Phantom of the Opera’

Azusa Pacific University’s Theater Arts Department, in partnership with APU’s School of Music, opens its 2022-23 season with a homage to Andrew Lloyd Webber’s “Phantom Of The Opera.”

The play will be presented in APU’s Warehouse Theater, 4 Mary Hill Lane, Azusa, through October 22. To purchase tickets, visit aputickets.universitytickets.com.

General admission begins at $27, but discounted tickets for senior citizens, military personnel, students, and alumni are available.

The production is directed by Gary Krinke and choreographed by John Vaughan, dean of Citrus College’s Performing Arts Department. The production will be conducted by John Burdett and will feature a live 14-piece orchestra made up of musicians from APU’s School of Music.
