August Art Walk heats up

The Claremont Art Walk takes place from 6 to 9 p.m. Saturday, August 5. This month’s featured artists and galleries are:

  • Ahmad Shariff Art Gallery, 107 Harvard Ave., “Bent X Bent,” by Andrew Bentson.
  • Bunny Gunner, 230 W. Bonita Ave., Sarah A. Meyer’s “Internal Spaces, Forgotten Places.”
  • Casa 425, 425 W. First St., “Wait, You Have a Message,” by Gorman Bentley.
  • Claremont Chamber of Commerce, 205 Yale Ave., Chris Frausto’s “Nature at Her Best.”
  • The Claremont Forum, 586 W. First St., “Where the Heart Leads You,” by Sonia Sleeger.
  • The Claremont Lewis Museum of Art, 200 W. First St., “A Personal World” by Ferne Jacobs (through September 24), with jazz by Vintage Music.
  • Crescent Tree Corp, 206 W. Bonita Ave., Suite G, “The Violet Flash” by Sydney Croskery.
  • The Laemmle Claremont 5 Theatre, 450 W. Second St., David Lee Johnson’s “Totems.”
  • Pomona Valley Art Association, 317 W. First St., “Above and Below,” by James Ellison, Antoinette “Toni” Stroman, and Katherine Thomas.
  • Square I, 110 Harvard Ave., will hold an estate sale featuring local artists.
  • Studio C, 260 W. Bonita Ave., “Boxed In,” a group showcase.
