Cal Poly Pomona’s ‘Pepperzania’ sale this Saturday

Cal Poly Pomona’s annual Pepperzania sale begins at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 29 at the Farm Store, 4102 S. University Dr., Pomona, with more than 160 pepper plants including serrano, jalapeno, hatch, Poblano, Peruvian, and Asian.

All plants are grown by Cal Poly Pomona plant sciences majors and proceeds will benefit the plant sciences program. The college’s nursery and greenhouse will also have an array of plants and seedlings to purchase including tomatoes, herbs, zucchini, squash, cucumbers, lettuce, strawberries, and dragon fruit.
