The Committee to Elect Jennifer Stark to Claremont City Council hosts a wine and cheese pairing event from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at the Cheese Cave, 325 N. Yale Ave. The candidate will be there to answer questions. Tickets are $75 and are available at jenniferstarkforcitycouncil.com.

 

Thursday, September 22

The Claremont Chamber of Commerce is giving the public an opportunity to meet city council candidates from districts two, three and four at a free and public forum from 1 to 2:30 p.m. at DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel, 555 W. Foothill Blvd., Claremont. A discussion panel will be moderated by Brett Strauss, a chamber board member and director of compliance at Southland Data Processing in Upland. Election Day is November 8. The Committee to Elect Steven Llanusa hosts a 5 p.m. campaign kickoff party for residents of Claremont Unified School District Trustee Area 4 and CUSD at large at Eddie’s Italian Eatery, 1065 W. Foothill Blvd., Claremont. The free, family-friendly event will introduce candidate Llanusa to the community and will include refreshments, drinks, and children’s activities.
