Chamber names new CEO

Kathleen Fariss, founder and chief executive officer of Fariss Coaching and Consulting, has been named CEO of the Claremont Chamber of Commerce.
Fariss has most recently been a consultant to the City of Ontario. She served as director of development, director of advancement and special events, associate dean for administration and student affairs, and director of events and stewardship at Claremont Graduate University from 2005 to 2017; as CGU’s Drucker School Global Family Business Institute’s founding executive director from 2018 to 2020; and as director of Fontana’s Development Services Organization from November 2005 to June 2010.
She holds a master’s degree in leadership and management and a bachelor’s in organizational management from University of La Verne and is an International Coaching Federation professional certified coach and a Whole Intentional Leadership Development toolkit facilitator and executive coach.
Fariss takes over for interim CEO John Neiuber, who stepped into the role following the departure of Randy Lopez in November 2024.
