On Wednesday, September 14 the Claremont Chamber of Commerce hosts a free and open to the public forum to discuss Measure CT at the Alexander Hughes Community Center, 1700 Danbury Rd., Claremont. The public is asked to RSVP at business.claremontchamber.org for the 1 to 2 p.m. event due to limited space. Measure CT is a cannabis tax measure which, if passed, will establish a tax rate for possible future cannabis-based businesses in the city.
