Chu to be honored by local Jewish organizations

On Sunday, August 6, Pasadena Jewish Temple and Center and Jewish Federation of the Greater San Gabriel and Pomona Valleys will honor Representative Judy Chu of California’s 28th Congressional District for introducing House Resolution 2668 in April, the U.S. Rescue and Aid Individuals of World War II Congressional Gold Medal Act of 2023.

If passed, the bill will award a collective Congressional Gold Medal to Americans who aided in rescuing Jews and other refugees during World War II and the Holocaust.
