Claremont Forum Bookshop seeks art donations

The Claremont Forum Bookshop is inviting artists of all mediums to contribute works for upcoming showcases to benefit its ongoing effort, the Prison Library Project.

“Instead of showcasing one artist a month, we will feature numerous community artists in the bookshop beginning in September 2022,” a flyer from the Forum read. The nonprofit is calling for artwork in all forms, including painting, jewelry, ceramics, textiles and more.

Works can be dropped off at the bookshop, 586 W. First St., inside the Claremont Packing House. For those who have artwork to donate but no way to transport it, email rachel@claremontforum.org or text (909) 451-1763 to arrange pickup.

All donated works will be displayed in the bookshop and available to purchase, with proceeds supporting the Prison Library Project.

For more information call (909) 626-3066 or visit claremontforum.org.
