CLMA fall gala includes dedication of new gallery
On Saturday, September 24, the Claremont Lewis Museum of Art will celebrate its fall gala.
Festivities will begin at 5:30 p.m. with a reception at the Claremont Depot Plaza, 200 W. First Street. Highlights of the evening include a dedication of CLMA’s Gallery One to Marguerite McIntosh, the founding president of the museum, as well as a tribute to Randall Lewis and his family for establishing an endowment to secure the future of CLMA.
The event will also include an auction, a paddle auction to benefit Project ARTstART, and dinner on the lawn served by Chef Henry of Spaggi’s. Attendees will also be able to view CLMA’s current exhibit, “Claremont Collects: Art, Creativity, Community.”

In addition to the gala, the community is invited to participate in the upcoming online auctions which feature 50 works by old and new local artists. The auction will go live at noon on Sunday, September 18 at 2022clmoa.afrogs.org, and end at noon on Monday, September 25. Preview viewing of the silent auction begins on Monday, September 12.
