CLMA hosts first Artful Evening fundraiser since pandemic

A supportive group of 85 guests were in high spirits given it was the first Claremont Lewis Museum of Art Artful Evening fundraiser since 2019. Held at the home of Valerie Martinez on Saturday, the event raised $9,520, which will go towards programming at the museum.

New CLMA Executive Director Martin Betz, above, also made an appearance to meet and update supporters. Courier publisher Peter Weinberger also was on hand to donate two Paul Darrow cartoons to help raise money for the museum. Overall, it was a festive evening at a gorgeous setting.

It could not have been a more perfect evening at the CLMA fundraiser as the setting sun fell into the horizon. Courier photo/Peter Weinberger
