Friday, April 19

• Senior artists are invited to a free 9 a.m. to noon drop-in art circle at Joslyn Center, 660 N. Mountain Ave., Claremont. Search “art group” at anc.apm.activecommunities.com/claremontrecreation.

• The City of Upland celebrates Earth Day with a free and public 9 a.m. to noon event featuring educational booths, crafts, games, and giveaways at Greenbelt Park, at the corner of 15th Street and Benson Avenue.

 

• Improving Dreams, Equality, Access, and Success (IDEAS) at the Claremont Colleges, a student activist group, hosts the 2024 5K Dream Run at 10 a.m. at Pitzer College, 1050 N. Mills Ave., Claremont. Check in starts at 8:30 at Brant Clock Tower.
