Fourth of July booth and parade applications due May 1

The annual Fourth of July festival will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Memorial Park.

Booths are available to Claremont nonprofit organizations and are “an excellent way to raise awareness and/or funds for your organization,” according to the city. Booth fees range between $25 to $100 depending on whether it is an information, game or vendor booth.

Booth applications are due by May 1 and can be submitted at ci.claremont.ca.us/government/departments-divisions/human-services/special-events/fourth-of-july-celebration/festival.

In addition, nonprofit organizations, families and individuals are invited to enter the annual Fourth of July parade, which starts at 10 a.m. The parade will take place on a two-mile route that begins at Memorial Park, travels south on Indian Hill Blvd., west on Harrison Ave., and ends at Larkin Park.

Parade applications are due by May 1 and can be found at ci.claremont.ca.us/government/departments-divisions/human-services/special-events/fourth-of-july-celebration/parade.
