On Tuesday, April 19, La Verne’s Hillcrest Retirement Community will host the Hawthorne Progressive walking tour starting at 10 a.m. The event will give non-Hillcrest residents a glimpse of the La Verne community as the event will feature a tour of the ground’s state-of-the-art retirement facilities as well as an opportunity to meet real Hillcrest residents.

In addition to the walking tour, Hillcrest will hold a relocation informational event for seniors thinking of making a move out of their current living situation. The event will take place at Hillcrest, 2705 Mountain View Dr., and will run until 1 p.m.
