Holocaust vigil, Interfaith Exchange on tap

Beginning at 7 p.m. Saturday, January 21 and running through 8 p.m. Sunday, January 22, the Jewish Federation of the Greater San Gabriel and Pomona Valleys, in partnership with the City of Pasadena, will be holding its annual Every Person Has a Name 25-hour Holocaust vigil to commemorate UN International Holocaust Remembrance Day on the steps of Pasadena City Hall, 100 N. Garfield Ave., Pasadena, CA 91101. The event is open to the public. The group is looking for volunteers to read names, in-person or virtually, during 30-minute blocks. The 45th annual Interfaith Exchange with Temple Beth Israel and Claremont Presbyterian Church will take place at 10 a.m. Sunday, January 29 at Claremont Presbyterian, 1111 N. Mountain Ave., Claremont, CA 91711, and at 7:30 p.m. Friday, February 3 at TBI, 3033 N. Towne Ave., Pomona, CA 91767. More information is at tbipomona.org.
